World Vision is an organization that Rachel has taken part in with sponsoring a child for each of her boys. She has a strong affection for what World Vision is doing and how they are practically reaching children's lives through food, shelter, education and a way touch their lives with the gospel.
I have set up a personal site to honor Rachel through your donations to World Vision! Rachel and all of us will be able to see how we are all financial sponsoring World Vision as our gift to Rachel for her birthday.
Please join with me to give Rachel the best gift she would want by giving to others! I want to say more about how amazing my sister is and how she will totally love this gift but I want to post this first so she can see it and we can all start blessing her flipflops off!!! SOOOO excited!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHEL!!!
Can someone write more about Rachel's love for ministry and her desire to touch other's with the love of God?? I am emotionally spent right now:-)
I have seen how Rachel's eyes light up when she speaks about her ministry to young mothers, the homeless, and people in need. Even during the worst of her illness, she is serving or actively planning to serve. In this, Rachel leads us. Our service to the Most High knows no restriction due to age, health, or finances. The Lord requires a willing heart and He will do the rest. Happy Birthday Rachel. Thank you for showing us how to celebrate it tomorrow. Have a blessed day, Reva
ReplyDeleteRachel's picture was on the next page! Great to get to see her!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Birthday Celebration!
The Lord multiply our offerings to World Vision and all whose lives they touch.
Rachel has shared so many times her vision of reaching others and sharing her love for Our Lord with them and she never wants to stop nor does she tire of sharing her belief in God and her personal relationship with him with all of us!
ReplyDeleteFeeding 5000 is one of her favorites! Rachel also likes to organize clothes and closets for missionaries returning home and for their families.
When we brought our family, kids included to Feeding 5000 it was indeed wonderful to see and learn how all of us working together can produce such joy for others. Our children are waiting for Jim to let us know when we will be feeding by the Park and we will all go to Philly. I will always see Rachel's face and hear her such loving, positive face encouraging us to come along!!! I just want her to be able to come along with us, too.
Rachel is such a treasure and I will always treasure our conversation about going to Heaven. It was so inspiring and loving.
Rachel has been so strong for all of us and so brave, and I just want her to know that GOD IS Holding her in the Palm of his hand and HE will not let go!WHAT A RACE YOU ARE RUNNING!!!!
Love and prayers to Rachel and her guys and of course to Mom and Sister, too.
Our hearts ache for all of you...
